Great location and atmosphere, but as mentioned by other reviewers, the service is a huge disappointment. I visited this place once for lunch and while the place was empty, the service was still slow. I visited once on a Friday night for drinks and both the espresso bar and the cocktail bar took 20+ minutes to make a few drinks. The place was not crowded but I think only 2 people were working. Management needs to staff better and the barista needs to learn how to make coffee.
Great atmosphere and great drinks. Food is pretty good but service is slow- great place if you have time but awful for takeout.
I like the service from the cashiers and servers. The food was good and the coffee was excellent. The manager/owner was a bit strange I felt like it was a racial thing.
This place is nice. Service is spotty at times, especially if you want to hang out there for a few hours. But the people are generally polite and friendly. Their coffees and stuff are ho-hum. That said, Their shakes are very good. Things have changed there over the past years, but it's still a fun cafe. You can order alcoholic drinks now in the coffee shop, but you can't smoke inside anymore. During the day the music is a lot of indie stuff. Sometimes at night the music turns toward metal and rock. Brick walls with art on it and high ceilings make for a comfortable feel. Lighting is nice with huge windows during the day and at night it gets a little dim. People run the gamut, but it seems to draw a generally young crowd. Aside from lunch and diner hours it seems a hipster paradise replete with noisy teenagers at night. Food and coffee will probably run 1 person around $10-20. Free coffee refills.
Paris is awesome and they totally saved me when I broke my thumb as a kid. I was 12 and they let me use their phone for free. The coffee is great and the food is mouth watering. The bathroom walls are an interesting read, even if you don't need the facilities. This will always be one of my favorite places.
They seemed overwhelmed. the eggs were cold but the coffee was good... Cute place will try again though...
My friends and I were looking for a place to lay low after Denver shenanigans no laws were broken. It was about 12:30 in the morning when we arrived so it was pretty late in the evening. First impressions of the place were very comforting. Nice booths, high ceilings with art for sale on the brick walls. I was ready for a nice beverage to top the night off. I was not ready for the lack of customer service. We sat down and the female waitress who served us said, "I assume you guys just want the pitcher of Chai Tea." Took our menues and walked off. So we sort shrugged it off and began to talk. I was pouring my tea and spilled just a tiny bit, and there were no napkins given to us. So I flagged her over and she came back with some. I apologized for the spill and she kept saying "It's fine. It's fine." In a super sassy way, like she was trying to fill us with guilt. So we shrugged that off too. Towards the end of our undelightful visit. She walked by and looked down and said, "Did you guys spill this water? Was this you?" And we had no idea what she was talking about. My friend offered to clean it up, and she seemed convinced it was us and again had major attitude about it. So we decided to get outta there. As we left, she said to my friend. "You guys owe- oh never mind it's all here. You can leave." As if we were going to dine and dash. Sure felt like doing it. We left a two dollar tip although she did not deserve it. Then we shrugged that place off of our shoulders for good. I understand that working that late is tiring. But don't hire people who dont interact with customers well at night. Hire night owls. I'd gladly work night shifts to interact with the crazy people who go in at that time. Get rid of her or put her in check.
Great ambience, cool crowd, and fantastic food and drinks. Get a sandwich and milkshake, you won't be sorry.
Coffee date. It was perfect. Nice low key and just enough atmosphere to make it charming.
A local institution, like the coffee shops of the 90s. Good food too. Live events. Unlimited mimosas are just $9 on weekends!
