So glad someone recommended this hidden gem. This food was delicious and the kids meals were the highest quality I’ve seen! The Mac and cheese was real pasta and cheese. The owners and servers are so kind and I cannot wait to come back again. I recommend the vodka pasta with shrimp.
Would have been a 5 start but I ordered fried Ravioli and instead of telling me they were out they served me mozzarella sticks and at this restaurant you order and pay before being served your food. Besides this issue there food was amazing. I would not order the mozzarella sticks they were not very good.
The owners are really nice. The atmosphere in the restaurant is welcoming. The food is amazing. Large portions and great price. I haven’t been disappointed yet.
Cariera's is a fast casual type of restaurant. It's located in strip mall but don't let that mislead you. The food is very good and the staff is polite. Bathrooms are clean and the restaurant interior seem to be very well maintained. You order at the front counter are given a number and then find your seat. I think it took about 10 to 15 minutes for our orders to come out. There was plenty of sauce on our pasta dishes which is great because I do not like a dry pasta. We were introduced to this location by a neighbor and it has become our go-to spot for takeout Italian or a quick sit down. I had the lasagna which was one of the best lasagnas my wife said she had had. I also had the chicken mushroom pasta and my wife had the pasta a la vodka with chicken. All of them were great. My rating system consists of a 3-star being exactly what I expected and neither good nor bad. A 4 means something was extra special whether it was service, food, staff, etc., and a 5 means I was blown away. A 2 star rating was disappointing with no offer to correct the experience and a 1-star rating was terrible
First time here at take out chicken parmigiana and it was delicious. The noodles are thick, cheese is sticky, sauce nice and the chicken cooked just right. Didn’t have to wait all day for a take out. The cashier was bubbly and even asked me how my day was. I am thoroughly impressed and can’t wait for my next take out or dine in. The funny this is I passed by here all the time. So glad I decided to stop and try it out. Awesome Italian food for a decent price.
Cool spot. Dig that you order and pay first. The girl at the register was a space cadet. We had to repeat everything we said a bunch of times to her. Seemed like she was high as she kept drifting off while we were trying to order. A friend of hers came in with a bluetooth speaker playing music from his phone and dancing like an idiot. Ordered his food, sat his speaker on the counter. Appeared to know everyone working there. Ate his meal at the front register, standing, dancing, listening to hip hop on an open speaker. Apparently acceptable behavior for this establishment. Too bad, food was delicious, but I doubt we'll be back.
OMG! This is a quiet little Italian restaurant with authentic, delicious food. I enjoyed the chicken piccata with the capers because, after all, you must love capers. Wonderful! We had a pleasant conversation with Alisa, one of the owners who was very helpful in suggesting the best pairing ideas. We were treated as if we were family and appreciated. Also enjoyed a delicious dessert. We will visit again when we're in town. We're about two hours away, but it was well worth the trip. One idea is to post an arrow at the door: "This way to order" as I noticed some, including us, thinking we should wait at the door to be seated Thank you so much for our fabulous visit
The staff is amazing. Really attentive and friendly. Love that they wiped down the tables and chairs after guest were done eating. Love that they replaced the white butcher paper after each guest as well. Now… to the food… A-MAZ-ING. I went to Italy about six years ago and have not eaten Olive Garden since and I am glad to say I found Italy in Winter Garden. My salad was fresh and filling got the half I ordered the lasagna 1/2 and it was so filling. The owner was very pleasant and approachable. All in all, a great experience.
We are here tonight and had a great time! We had the chicken parm, meatballs, and bread rolls with Alfredo. Everything was tasty. It is a fast casual dining so you walk in and order at the register. The menu board is just specials and there is a paper menu you can look at, they pretty much have every Italian dish you can think ofor so the guy said lol. You sit at a table with numbers and get your own drinks from the machine. They will bring out your food when it’s ready. Everyone was super nice and attentive, it was not busy when we went in.
My sister and I had our first visit to Cariera's, a family owned restaurant, for lunch about a week ago. We grabbed the menus, sat at a booth, made our selections and then went up to very friendly Cashier/Waitress Valerie to prepay our meals and tips. I had the Fried Calamari, Shrimp & Crab Ravioli ala Vodka, fruit infused red sangria and for dessert, Limoncello cake. Sis had the Lasagna. Everything was delicious see pics! The calamari was seasoned crispy on the outside but light and tender on the inside. The ravioli didn't have as much crab as I would have liked but plenty of shrimp. The vodka sauce was creamy and cheesy. Even the garlic roll was fresh and warm. Everything was perfect and there was plenty leftovers to feed us a couple more days. The owner and Valerie and other servers checked on us periodically throughout our meal. The food, welcoming atmosphere and excellent customer service provided our first-time visit with a very happy, delightful experience! There are plenty of veggie and vegetarian options and a $10 'Little Bambinos' menu. Cariera's is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking except handicapped spaces are limited. We plan to return to try different things on the menu and would highly recommend for indoor and/or carry out meals with family, friends and visitors. Vegetarian options: They offer a side of veggies for $7.50 including broccoli, mushrooms, asparagus and spinach. You can also substitute veggies for pasta on entrees for $3.50. Kid-friendliness: Little Bambinos $10 menu. Parking: Strip mall parking. Only one handicapped parking space.
