Very friendly staff! Clean and modern look. Doctor Martin was very thorough, listened to my concerns and provided great care. The dental team works really well together. I appreciate that they answered my questions and allowed me to lead my own plan of care based on my preferences, schedule and finances. Brooke always does a great job cleaning my teeth and cares and me and my family. Highly recommend Carolina Dental in Goldsboro!

My girlfriend Kristin goes here for her dental services. The staff is AMAZING. Brooke and Liz are exceptional and friendly. The new doctor (male) is very nice and helpful. Just make sure you have a good insurance cause major dental work or anything other than a regular checkup or cleaning can be a bit pricey. Overall great experience though!

I had a bridge replaced by Dr. Ellen Nordgren at Carolina Dental Arts, Goldsboro. The whole experience was very unsatisfactory, beginning with not communicating my costs after insurance and a very long time for the bridge to be delivered without any calls for updates. I actually had to go to them because the temporary bridge fell and it was hurting really bad at which time they told me they actually had the bridge but I had to pay $1500 for me to have it. This was not communicated to me at the time they started the procedure. Also, the bridge is very short and doesn't cover entirely the teeth underneath which is not only bothering but it's unhealthy. My new dentist urged me to change the bridge which I had delayed because of the price. The insurance won't cover this bridge replacement because it is within 5 years since I last had it replaced. I am filing this review because given that this is not within 365 days from the procedure, I don't have the chance to file a complaint with BBB. I find it very unfortunate that there is nothing I can do at this time to recover any of my expenses for a job that was poorly done. Regrettably, this was not the only situation in which Dr. Nordgren's work was unsatisfactory and given that she wasn't able to establish a professional trustful relationship with me as her patient I had to seek dental care somewhere else where my needs are better considered and taken care of.

Our family of 4 used this office in the fall of 2016, because our insurance changed and we had to find a new in network office for care. At our first routine cleaning, we find out that we all have cavities, need xrays, etc. 2 of us decide to go back for fillings and the other 2 decide to wait. We pay some portion out of pocket at filling appointment to make up for what insurance will lack. Several months later, we get a call from a collections agency about >$400 that we owe the dentist - despite never receiving any bill for care. We call the dentist to find out about balance, after review they find mistakes on their end and tell us we owe >$200. We pay what we are told that we owe in full, in person, within the week. A couple of months go by and we start getting letters again from collections about the same amount and issue. Calls to the office ask us to fax the letters from collections. Follow up calls tell us fax not received (they are out of ink). The 2 of us that did not get our "cavities" filled, followed up with a different dental office in town. Our new dentist does not find any cavities and gives us a clean bill of health. We contact CDA to try and get our dental records for our new dentist - weeks go by, they still have not sent anything. Billing is a real problem with this office. Requests for records go unfulfilled. We were left feeling that we were "up-sold" about services and treatments that we did not need. I would not recommend this office to anyone that i care about.
