We are a military family and lost our daughter this September in Virginia. My husband and want her to be buried in the beautiful city our love story began. I wanted her to be buried in a place she could rest peacefully without us worrying about the area or cemetery maintenance. They were honestly so professional about everything and helped make the process so much easier than I was anticipating. The gardens are absolutely gorgeous and maintained. We were even able to prepay our family plot for the day I am ready to see my baby again. I am so grateful for their demeanor and support in our time of hurt and sorrow.

Laya did a stellar job guiding us through one of most difficult of times.  I appreciated the time given for me to spend time with my loved one outside of scheduled visiting hours.  Five stars would have been given had phone calls been returned and if receipt of the death certificate had taken place in a timely fashion.  Unfortunately, because of the lag time and unresponsive phone attempts, we were unable to address several financial issues while we were in Charleston.

Thank you! Words alone can’t express the gratitude I have for this place. It’s not the easiest time facing what has happened. Craig will forever be miss in his friends and family’s hearts. An especially in mine. I appreciate fondly you guys taking the effort to make this last moment truly special.

Everything was handled very well. The funeral home worked closely with our wishes for our Mother. It was a lovely visitation and service. Thankyou!

My Mother past away at the age of 91, she decided 20 years ago to prepay for her funeral. It was one of the best gifts she could have given me. She picked out everything, planed her music and pretty much everything. The staff was very helpful and they did not try to push me into buying anything that my mother warned. She also saved a ton of money by paying for her service in advance

My mom passed in February 2022 in Rochester, NY. Her home is Charleston. We chose Carolina Funeral Home. Communication was awesome with the Director Darryl Y. He was very sympathetic, compassionate, & comforting. When the time came, Mom's body was prepared in Rochester, flown to Carolina Funeral Home. The day of her service, unfortunately, the viewing at the beginning was very upsetting to her children because her clothes & jewelry was not in place due to the plane flight. Darryl did help me to fix it. But it was still upsetting to see her in such disarray. There were no other problems after that. At the gravesite, all was well to say our last goodbye to mom. The headstone we purchased from them was paid for in May. It was placed on July 17th. 8 appreciate all that was done for my Mom. I extend my deepest gratitude to Carolina Funeral Home. A special thank you to Brother Darryl Young for everything he did. God bless.

They were very patient with me. Laya has a very calming voice. I would recommend them to everyone that has lossed a loved one.

We were treated with respect and kindness at this difficult time. Everything was explained well and we made good decisions based on our needs and a complete understanding of how the funeral will take place. Thankful for a good process with our director Darryl.

This is the third time that I’ve used Carolina funeral home. Everyone  was very nice during this difficult time. They took the time we needed and answered all our questions and helped us decide on everything we wanted.  I highly recommend them.

My uncle was buried a year ago. STAFF knew him and worked with him, and his coworker handled the funeral arrangements. Carol. After one year, there is still no grave marker or headstone for my uncle's grave. They are refusing to return my calls and emails inquiring about how to fix this. Please tell me how you bury your coworker in a potter's grave and ignore the family reaching out to you to fix the issue? Extremely unforgivable, and very unprofessional. I will never do business with them again.
