I've been going to Dr. Fernando for almost 5 years, and he is absolutely the best! So is Rosa, who has been running things since I've been a patient. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Fernando, on his skills as a physician, and about his character. Rosa has always been very professional, caring, and capable as well. I don't know what the guy in the earlier review was describing, but that has never been my experience. Even when Dr. Fernando's previous office was being used, it didn't have dirty bathrooms or anything like that. Furthermore, he is now in a beautiful, modern, nicely-decorated office, and his front-office person Kathy is always helpful and easy to work with. I have always been able to get an appointment and get in to see him quickly.

If I could give Dr. Fernando more than 5 stars I would. The role that this man has played in my recovery is so substantial that I truly do not know what would have happened had I not met him when I did. Last week marked 3 years that I have been sober and I owe a lot of that success to Dr. Fernando, Rosa and everyone else at Carolina Physicians Group. I met Dr. Fernando at a junky little rehab clinic in SC a little over 3 years ago. I had no plan for what I was going to do after I left and no one at the clinic really gave me any information or advice on what I should do. Then I met Dr. Fernando. He set up a meeting for us to discuss what to do at his private clinic as soon as I left rehab. I went to his office and he helped me to understand the treatment options available to me and answered all of the questions my mother and I had about the medications he was suggesting. But what I find most impressive about Dr. Fernando is that he is truly interested in you as a person and the struggles that an individual faces when dealing with addiction. He doesn't just give you the typical medical jargon associated with substance abuse. He deals with you on an individual level and really makes you feel that he sincerely cares about you. I cannot recommend Dr. Fernando and Carolina Physicians Group enough.

I've been seeing Dr Fernando for over 2 years now, and he's been great! The biggest difference I've seen compared with other doctors is that he takes time with each patient and actually listen. His staff is super nice and always extremely helpful working me into the schedule when needed. I definitely recommend Dr. Fernando!

My husband has been going to Dr Fernando for over four years now to recieve Suboxone therapy. Dr Fernando and his staff have become like family to him. The few times something has come up and rescheduling was needed the staff always made sure he had enough of his meds and called in enough to the pharmacy to carry him through till his appointment.

It is impossible to get an appointment with Dr Fernando in the mornings. Apparently in the mornings, he is working for another doctor somewhere else. Therefore I rate his office hours as Poor. Ladies work in his office are unfriendly and non-caring. Also his office needs upgrading. Smells stuffy. I got a runny nose after visiting his office. His dirty & messy bathrooms needs urgent cleaning.
