After meeting with dr. Anderson in-person, listening to and also reading the reviews of his surgical expertise I booked an appointment for my foot surgery immediately. I have been in pain for 6 years due to my hesitancy after a botched prior surgery by another doctor. Without hesitation I flew across the country from California. I had and extremely complicated foot surgery which he expedited flawlessly. As I was  flying back across the country he even came in on his day off, yes on a weekend  to change the bandage himself . His expertise, professionalism, and kindness are exemplary. You simply will not find a finer surgeon anywhere.

Dr. Anderson performed an extremely complex and complicated ankle surgery on my mom in February of 2017.  Every single part of her journey went very well, and it is because of Dr. Anderson and his team at OrthoCarolina.  The care he gave her in the days and weeks following her surgery was outstanding.  She had to be bedridden for six weeks, with limited mobility in the weeks following that.  If I had even the smallest question, I simply called up his office, and it was answered to my satisfaction quickly and completely.  His follow-up care was superb.  It was a very long and very slow process, but everything healed perfectly.  Frankly, I was very worried about even doing this surgery because of the potential complications and the long recovery process, but with Dr. Anderson's skill and knowledge, she got through it just fine!  His whole staff at OrthoCarolina is outstanding, and I would highly recommend Dr. Anderson and his staff to anyone!!  My mom got the same care, concern, and surgical skill as any professional athlete.  Dr. Anderson was never flippant to us, and he was never rushed in our appointments.  Before the surgery, we had a lot of questions, and he answered every single one of them.  There's a lot of doctors who won't take that time, but he does.   He is simply a very good man and an outstanding surgeon.

Dr. Anderson did surgery on my wife's foot and it is 10 times worse than it was. She went to another Doctor and the x-ray showed that her big toe bone came off and it is dying. When we confronted Dr. Anderson about it he said oh well,. it happens. Now we have to find another Doctor to do surgery again to repair his mistake. Had he been human he would have done what it would have taken to make it right. Guess it's all about the money. Good luck with this guy.

Reconstructed my ankle 14 1/2 years ago.  Dr. Anderson  is a fantastic surgeon.  He has given me over 14 years without  pain.

I did extensive research and Dr. Robert Anderson is one of the very best in the world for foot and ankle. He surgically repaired my husband's ruptured Achilles.  The entire experience was exceptional.
