Some times the wait can be long but it is worth it. I love Dr Goodwin and his nurse. They are both so kind and adorable!!. So very sweet and breastfeeding friendly. They are up to date on AAP and WHO standards and support my decisions as a mother. You also receive literature every wellness visit (at least that I know of as a child of an infant) to inform you in what vaccines are done and what developmental milestone you have or will be encountering, and health tips and suggestions. Staff is kind and I love the after hours number. I drive an hour to get to this office because I love this pediatrician. They also have a wonderful reading program for children where they give your child a book starting at 6 months to five years for every wellness visit. Highly recommend his place and Dr Goodwin.

I have had overall solid experiences at this office. One friend recently complained about the old decor, but decor isn't on my rubric of concerns. The office is clean with competent, caring staff. The doctors don't think it's okay for your kids to be obese, or to watch too much TV, and they tell you so. If your kids have asthma, they are rigorous in their parent training to make sure your child can breathe. And, yeah, sometimes it feels like you're being told how to parent. In my view, that's their job, and I'm glad they do it, even if I sometimes feel like, "Gosh, I've been a bad mom...." It's important to remember that most trips to a pediatrician are unpleasant because our kids are sick, they get shots, and/or we'd rather be doing anything else than listen to crying babies and contemplating germs. I have read some reviews about office staff being unpleasant or there being long waits. In my 20 or so visits to this office, I would NOT describe the experience as warm and friendly, but neither do I expect that. As for wait times, I have had to wait more than an hour maybe a few times, but usually, it's less than 30 minutes.

Love Dr.Coleman and her nurse. However we will be switching offices due to a rude office staff who fails to communicate properly with clients and keep up with proper paperwork. The last straw came about when my husband called to confirm my daughters appointment because we had forgotten the exact time and the woman said she had no appointment down for her. I was there when Alena told him the date and time I just could not remember if she said two or two-thirty. It is so said that this office is losing patients due to an office staff that could easily be replaced and improved. So my child is behind on shots because of this office staff. To them we are just another number just another clipboard but this is my daughter's life and we deserve better care and a more respectful staff to care for us and most importantly our daughter.

A two hour wait for kids with appointments more often than not. It's ridiculous my kids will never be back.
