I hadn't been to Carrabba's in a while...I should have come back sooner. We were seated without a long wait. The restaurant was clean and service was excellent! The food was fresh, flavorful, and hot. I like that the food has more of a "real" Italian taste. The chicken soup had tons of veggies and was seasoned perfectly. The complimentary bread was soft and warm; pairing well with the olive oil and seasoning. The menu is diverse, which accomodated us well. We'll be back for sure!
This was by far my worst visit to Carrabba's ever. I was there by myself the day before Father's Day at 11:00 a.m. when they opened. There was a table of six and me that was the only people that came in the door. It took over 20 minutes to get a drink 30 minutes for bread almost 40 minutes for an appetizer. Speaking of the appetizer I had the musels, which were wonderful but I found two mushrooms in my mussels. I'm glad I wasn't allergic. When I got my meal part of the scallops and shrimp were burnt so I asked them to redo that part I was willing to keep the rest of the food and eat. But they took everything back and I waited another 10-15 minutes for my entree. When I showed the waitress the burnt part of the food, since she wasn't the one that brought me my entree she said yes I agree that is burnt. I can hear her as she goes back to the kitchen "she said this is burnt". I waited 30 minutes for napkins . I spoke to a manager about the issues that I had, told him up front I didn't want anything. I just wanted him to have some feedback and be aware of the situation. He looked like a deer caught in headlights, just no response to anything, he did end up taking an entree off again I did not ask him to do that. But I wasn't going to wait another 20 minutes to have them change my check. All together I was there an hour and 45 minutes for a single person dining with an appetizer and an entree. Part of the problem was the kitchen part of the problem was the waitress. Again it was the day before Father's Day they should have been staff to expect higher volume, again it was just me and a 6 top so the really wasn't any volume at that point. I love Carrabba's I eat there as often as I can but this was just by far not an experience I ever want to have again. It's going to be a while before I go spend any kind of money at Carrabba's again. Truly disappointed
Long wait but good food and drinks. Seems there is always a wait at this restaurant. Our waitress was new, but she was awesome and took care of our needs. It was weird having to wait 10 minutes for a table, then walking in the sitting area and seeing half the restaurant empty. We then got seated right next to every other party eating, when there were plenty of tables open to space people out. Features: No masks, close seating within restaurant but the tables are mostly booths.
Worst lasagna I ever had. Once again I'm tricked by corporate restaurant claiming to have good food. Way way way too much salt in this food here. Lasagna had some type of ground meat imitation looking something that I could not decipher. Was definitely not ground meat because I make lasagna all the time. Still cannot believe how terrible the lasagna was definitely came out of a prepackaged from some factory in America
Today was my attempt to show my wife that Carrabbas is better than Oliver Garden. Called in to place an order to go and had to wait a little over 5 minutes on hold. Lady who took my order was very nice. I asked for two orders of chicken marsala and to substitute the mash potatoes for fettuccine alfredo instead. When I arrived for pick up I wasn’t exactly sure what to do but someone eventually came out to help. When I was told my total something didn’t seem right. Found out that my substitution didn’t get put in. I let the server listen to my dash cam recording and she confirmed that I was clear on my order. She asked that I wait 5 minutes for the kitchen to make some and that they wouldn’t charge me for it. Me and my wife really enjoyed our chicken marsala and the potatoes were yummy too. Little disappointed on the fettuccine alfredo though. It came in a small cup and you can tell it was just put together real quick. Definitely not what I am used to and my wife now thinks Olive Garden has better fettuccine alfredo. But! She did admit the chicken marsala was definitely better.
Believe it or not, this was my first time having Carrabba's ever. My husband had eaten at a different location years ago and never wanted to go back. Needless to say it took some convincing to get him to go, and the gift card we had helped a lot. We decided to pop in as they opened for lunch. We took our picky 6 yo for a nice family meal. When we walked in the first thing I noticed was the atmosphere. It was slightly dimmed with light music, making it calm and inviting. The staff was very friendly and welcoming as well. We ordered and appetizer, kids meal, and steak to share and I'm happy to report everything was perfectly cooked. They start you out with bread that has a lightly crispy layer on the outside and an almost steamed soft center. The calamari, fried mushrooms, mozerella sticks, steak, and mac & cheese we ordered were also so delicious! This was the first time my son tried calamari and he loved it! On top of that, my husband enjoyed the whole meal and is actually willing to go back! The fact that he hasn't wanted to eat there for years speaks volume to how wonderful their food was. I wish I had taken more pictures but we were enjoying the food so much i kept forgetting to.. I can't wait to go back for another family meal and I highly recommend them!
Went for the monthly wine pairing dinner. Delicious food, including some things I never would have ordered. All were terrific. And, best of all, each course came with a different wine. Truly enjoyable. Reservations requiredFood: 5/5
We tried the appz combination not in the pictures, and Spiedino dish w/ soup and smashed potato The stuffed mushrooms were outstanding. The cheese sticks were ok. Crispy cover. Pretty standard. Calamari were very salty with little meat and thick flour. It tasted almost as if it were just fried bread crumbs. Though it was crispy. The soup was also salty. I had to balance it out with the cheese stick and smashed potato which was ok. The shrimp and scallops in Spiedino were sad. It's ok to have spotty black here and there but it shouldn't have a total black burnt. The burnt part was even soggy when served. It'll be wiser to try other dishes
Large portions and great taste. Excellent service.
Although this isn't the first time we've visited This chain, this was the first time I got the generic Italian food spaghetti. Generally we purchase a more colorful meal, but being in the mood for pasta and something rather simple, I opted this way.. I was amazed ! This was the only spaghetti I'd ever eaten that was better than mine at home. It seems strange and I'm looking forward to going back just for spaghetti
