The Carroll County Arts Council is located in the magnificently renovated Carroll Arts Center, formerly the Carroll Theater in downtown Westminster. The art deco building now houses a 270-seat theater, two galleries, art classrooms and offices.

The Carroll County Arts Council's Mission is to enrich our community, both culturally and economically, by presenting, promoting and supporting a wide variety of arts opportunities for our residents, visitors, and artists.

Reviews

First came for a play my children were in. It was a lovely general admission theater. All our friends had excellent views of the stage from wherever they sat. The prices for adult vs children tickets were both reasonable.

Ended up signing up for a membership and found a class all 3 of my children could take together. They are enjoying the third week of their art class. Every week they bring home a variety of pieces that really put the viewer into the art. Miss Dawn is a great teacher.

The children also enjoy walking around the free to view gallery of art. They are learning much about how art can help you express your emotions.

Nice place. Very nice staff. Have been there for kids dying a play and at classes. Parking sucks. Street 5 you can park next to the building. Public meter parking lots across the street and down the street. Theater is a little older and it shows but has nice character. Has a couple of galleries and side artwork for sell.

I love the Arts Center. I attended movies here as a child & am overjoyed that this historic building has been so wonderfully repurposed as a sources for all things creative.

Saw the Maryland Ensemble cast perform A Christmas Carol, great show. Great staff, great prices.
