the food was just ok and the service was lousy.  i asked if they had a side Caesar salad and the answer was yes, you could add one or it was $4. i ordered French onion soup and a side Caesar and was served a full sized salad from a different waitress.  i again said i only wanted a small salad and was then told they didn't have one.  when pressed,  i was then told it was $4 to add it to an entree.  so basically,  since i didn't order an entree i couldn't order one. well someone at my table had an entree and said to just add it to theirs. the waitress first argued but eventually returned the large salad for a small,  literally dropped it on the table and walked away.  we didnt get any further service without flagging someone down.  several times we were asked if we were done,  in a nearly empty restaurant.   

to boot,  the salad was overdressed and freezing cold.  the onions in the soup weren't caramelized at all.  streer clear of this place.

Awful service even though the bar was practically empty. Left a smaller tip than normal and the bar tender followed us outside and told us not to come back. Good advice!

It's a nice little quaint place. The "Isaac Royall" was the best drink I've had out!

Really slow service and incredibly rude and unprofessional wait staff. Really disappointing, definitely won't go here again.

Great atmosphere and attentive staff. Food was great, oysters were amazing and The colonial burger was tasty. Definitely coming back on the regular.
