This place is amazing. Serves delicious food and the chef/owner is super nice. The food and service is just phenomenal.

I'll start with the (only)  pro:  The food was very good.  The bruschetta was the best I've ever had, and the fried artichokes were excellent.  My main course, as well as everyone else's was excellently prepared, and delicious.  Again, the food is the only redeeming quality of this place.

The cons:  The service was quite literally, the worst I have ever had anywhere.  From the time we ordered our food, to when we got it, it was an hour and 40 minutes.  We checked in with the wait staff a couple times during our 100-minute wait for food, and each time they only said the food would be here "soon".    For a place with only 15 tables (and not all of them were full), that is atrocious.   Most of us had something wrong with our order (meet not cooked to order, wrong item substituted, etc).  and for the whole time we ate our meal, nobody checked on us.  Most of us were out of water and wine for the entirety of our meal.  Again, the place only has 15 tables, not all of which were even full, so failing to check on us during our meal (after waiting 1hr 40 minutes for food) was unacceptable.)  Additionally, some people who came in after us got their food before us, so something wasn't right in the kitchen either.   A different group of people came in after us, and it was 30 minutes before anyone even got to their table to take their order or give them water.  We were talking to them about how bad the service was -- they almost left.   Lastly, we had some people with various allergies, and they were difficult about it.  For example, someone wanted a pasta dish that came with Fish, but she was allergic to fish, so she asked them to sub stir fry chicken.  They would not do this, they said they could serve it without fish, and then they could charge us for a side of stir fry chicken to add (the chicken, by the way, came to us grilled instead of stir-fried).  Originally we had intended to stay for desert, but we didn't want to wait another hour or more to get it.  

So, basically, don't come here unless you aren't hungry (you will be by the time your food gets to you), and you have an age to wait.  The food was excellent, but I'd of rather eaten at an applebeas with good, quick service, than this place with excellent food, but atrocious service.

I was not expecting Lantana to be as charming as it was. The reviews posted here do not do it justice. From the moment I walked in, the lighting, decor, the ambience, and just the general vibe was right up my alley. I think the most perfect way to describe the place is "hipster quaint" if that translates to what I think it does. ;)

Great food ..nice atmosphere .great service ..I have been wanting to check out this place for a few yrs ,wish I tried it sooner ...all the dishes are Great

Love this place. Food is awesome, friendly atmosphere, reasonable prices for what you get. Whole heartedly recommend.
