My family went to Cartmell when my Nana passed away last year. They were professional and compassionate. I would highly recommend them for any funeral services needed including pre-planning, calling hours (wake), Church ceremony and graveside burial that we use when saying goodbye to our special family member. Kathy, Dan and John treated our family like their own and it still gives my family comfort knowing we put my Nana in the best of hands.

When my father passed away, my brother and I were both calling around to get prices on different places (his death was unexpected and he had no life insurance). We both happened to call here and the woman gave him attitude saying "you guys already called here!" Then when she gave him prices she upped the prices from what she had told me. She also was extremely rude and made him feel stupid for asking about getting my father cremated but having a closed casket with his cremains in it. She said we'd also still have to pay for embalming since it's a "set price" even though he wasn't having that done. We ended up going to Bartlett's and they were very warm and helpful, they made us not feel alone through the process.

I was born and raised in this business, and I’m so very proud of my sister Kathy who took over our  family business, and has poured her heart and soul into doing a great job.  I’m so proud of her carrying on in a manner that would’ve made my dad so proud.

Our family utilized Cartmell Funeral Home when my father passed. They treated us with the most utmost respect. Im greatly appreciative of their services and I highly recommend them.

Mary, Kathy, Dan and John were professional, caring and compassionate.  They made the entire process of my family member's wake, funeral and burial very easy during a very difficult time.  Thank you all for your professionalism.
