I have lived in San Marcos some 30 odd years way before there was any type of public transportation period. I'm from Houston, TX and the Metros there or excellent. There's a vast difference between the two. Carts & Metro. Yet, from nothing to something is always better. Yes there is always room for improvement at Carts but everything requires money. One day someone with some money will see the potential for their investment and purchase Carts and make the necessary adjustments and it will become equal to the Metros of Austin or Houston but until then we have Carts. I for one am grateful and hopeful for the future evolution. I trust in that with the continued growth of San Marcos eventually it's coming. You hang in there Carts. I'm your #1 fan!!!!!!!

They are not reliable. 1. The information in their website is so confusing and sometimes outdated. Everytime I want to use their buses I have to call them and make sure about the schedule. 2. Sometimes drivers pull out whenever they want. Once I was so lucky that I was at station 30 mins before departure time. He pulled out 30 mins sooner. Also sometimes they don’t go at certain stops. They screw people in the bus and also peole waiting for the bus.

The people working here are kind and helpful, and the buses are neat and spacious. Though the buses may be late sometimes, this lateness is understandable given how poor i-35 traffic is throughout the day.

My source of transportation around town. Pretty much gets me anywhere I want to go to in San Marcos. Only wish that all bus stops had a place to sit while waiting for the bus.
