I had nachos that were really tasty and a really generous appetizer portion! The server was really attentive without being hovering, his timing for checking on us was excellent and he was really nice! I love that the chips are sturdy for the nachos, they're thick enough not to collapse under all the fantastic toppings. I'll definitely get those again!
There was a rock in my wife’s salad which chipped her tooth. Tim the owner told me he was sorry, but go pound sand and good lucking proving it in court. Needless to say I won’t go back and will tell everyone I meet not to support this business.Food: 1/5
Let me just say the waitress was amazing. But we will never be back. We started with the corn nuggets which actually were decent. Unfortunately that’s not enough of a reason for us to return. We didn’t enjoy the salsas, although the concept of a trio of salsas is a great idea. We shared the shrimp and chicken fajitas. The menu talks about spices on the meat for the fajitas but these were the blandest fajitas I have ever tasted. We kept trying to add salsas and things to them but they were just so flavorless. We couldn’t even finish it. The chicken tasted boiled and shrimp tasted odd. The chips were good. Overall this just didn’t feel like a Mexican restaurant as much as a very Americanized style of food.
Our server Sarah has the best customer service very friendly give her a five star Food: 5/5
Update from owner response: Since the owner thinks this is a fake review here is my actual review of the service I had. I ordered the steak fajitas and I think a microwave meal would have been better. The steak and veggies had no flavor and were totally bland. The salsa was mid at best. The waitress we had was obviously new which is not a problem but was completely clueless. Owner should probably take some time to train their wait staff. If you want good Mexican, this isn't the place.
I've Never been. I had purchased a "coupon card" for $20 as part of a fundraiser, I think. I'm a sucker for a kid trying to raise money for whatever they are trying to raise money for. It's been sitting on my desk for some time now, and I ran across it while cleaning, so I thought I'd see about this place online. My wife and I are huge Mexican food lovers, and definitely know a thing or two about how a Mexican restaurant should be, from the service to the food. Mexican food is fresh and flavorful, and spice is added to taste, by the consumer. Service is paramount; welcoming, highly attentive and most of all, humble. It looks from the reviews, there are plenty of people who have and enjoy this restaurant. Overall, I'd say 4.2 is an acceptable rating. My experience as a Google reviewer however, is that you will only get a small fraction of the negative reviews you deserve. People just aren't that interested in bringing a place down, especially a small, non-franchised, locally owned one. After reading the negative reviews, and especially the responses from the owner, I doubt we will be using our coupon card we paid money for mind you, as it appears the owner has little respect for anyone who wants to use such things. My advice for the owner: humility is a cornerstone of Mexican hospitality, not American. Your abusive and combative responses to negative reviews have probably lost you more than a few customers - I'd remove them if you can. Not everyone is going to like what you are making, and that should be fine. The fact they can say so behind the safety of their keyboard is an inconvenient truth, I'm afraid. The number of 1 star reviews you have doesn't justify the angry responses. Sometimes you don't hit the mark, that's life; let it go. Sometimes a Karen just needs to be a Karen; again, let it go. Sometimes someone is just giving honest and possibly valuable feedback; take or leave it, but let it go. I do wish you success brother, and God's peace. btw, this is my work account - not my first review. ;^
Showed up tonight at 8:35, conscious it was close to closing. No other patrons so thought they maybe closing early. I was greeted by Elizabeth, who couldn't have been any more accomadating. I acknowledged the time and didnt want to impose. "No worries, we got you.", she said. Where woul you like to sit? 5 star service, checked back every few minutes. She was the best waitress in recent memory. Thanks to the kitchen and bar staff too.
Standard Mexican fares are generally very good. Great margs. Some of the tacos can be a little dry and just need some extra sauce or salsa. We're usually very happy with our meals, and we like that this is not part of a big chain.Food: 4/5
First time we have been here. Great food and service. I'm pretty sure there was little to no alcohol in my drink, but it still tasted good. I would highly recommend this place and definitely try the sopapillas!!!Food: 5/5
The food is decent. House margarita is really good. Service is very good. The 3 salsas served with the chips are all good. The chips are on the thick side, crunchy, with a little salt. The enchiladas, especially pulled chicken, carnitas, and cheese, are my favorites. The ground beef is...ground beef. Served with boat loads of cheese.Food: 4/5
