I came in to have a meal to go. I ordered tamales and 2 different burritos. It was a simple order, nothing out of the ordinary. It wasn't busy and not the peak rush hour. I got home and found the 2 burritos were not made correctly, so i immediately returned to have them fix or made better. I got there and showed the manager who let me know she was the manager and asked if it could be corrected. She very quickly caught an attitude and said it would be more if I wanted it to be corrected. Simple fix, they didn't much in the burritos except potatoes. She was rude. Short with me and showed no compassion after ordering a $30 meal and leaving a tip for take out. No refund was offered. no offer for a different item to be exchanged. She was just rude, and really nit a friendly person. I sat in here and wrote my review then asked her if she was an owner ir a manger, she she looked me in the eye and said "I'm the manager. Why?" I told her I was writing a review and wanted to know what her role was. She said, ok, fine. I'm the manager. " Customer service - zero stars Food quality - 2.5 stars Atmosphere - 3 stars Willingness to be a decent and compassionate human being - zero stars This is a top-down problem. When a manager can't even make customer service a priority or e en care enough to guard your reputation as a busibess, why even bother trying to stay open? What a completely disappointing experience and total waste of money.
First visit and not bad for quick mexican. Obviously had to try the tamale which was the best part- pork in red sauce. Tried a side of chicken enchilda, rice beans and a beef burrito. Good overall comfort food. Prices not too bad for location.Food: 4/5
Super quick to bring food out. Good handheld beef burrito... Steak taco was great with the salsa... And his smothered tamale. I poured the rest of the green chili into the burrito as there didn't seem to be much green chili in the burrito even though I ordered it with someFood: 4/5
Fast, fresh, and friendly! Perfect balance of taste and spice in the green chili. Only place I have found to keep the portion size and price reasonable.Food: 5/5
The food was so great and whoever the cashier on Saturday morning, I think her name was Teresa. She gave the most excellent customer service I received in The owner they usually do, but she doesn’t cause that shit they would’ve replied to some of them, but should show this to your so long.Food: 5/5
Underwhelming food and poor service to top it off. We had breakfast burritos which were basically potato burritos with no egg. When we asked what comes in the burrito the cashier couldn’t be less helpful, just pointed to a sign, seemed like she didn’t want to be bothered. Then we went to get some water and there are posts everywhere that say “no water cups”. Not sure how this place stays in business being so unaccommodating to their customers. If the food was great it would make probable sense, but it was equally as poor as the service. Will never return.
The burritos were good as usual. Unfortunately, the cashier was so unfriendly that you have to wonder why she works there. I know retail is tough, but you have to do better.Food: 4/5
Gross! Let me spare you from tasting to find out for yourself and look at the picture, never order from them. For a place called tamale chicken the worst thing on the plate was the tamale and everything tasted horrible. See picture one that is the cracked dry tamale has delivered from The tamale kitchen. The tamale tasted 5 days + old, had cracks from dryness after during in a week of evaporating back into cornmeal. So gross. Disgustingly gross. I took one bite and threw it in the trash. Surprisingly, everything else tasted equally as bad. Put it in the trash. Avoid like the plague. So many other restaurants that won't make you want to vomit. I'm not exaggerating. It was actually that bad.
Food was excellent big fan of red chili had red chili enchiladas five stars Services quick and friendly but it was at least 95° in the restaurant and I ate in house completely destroying the meal. Going for something like Mexico who knows my advice to management skip it and get air conditioning Parking: Outlet mall first come first serve
4 stars for the overall value. The food is not fancy but it's good and very reasonably priced. It reminds me of holidays at my grandma's house. Tamales were a staple around Christmas. You should know the printed menu at the counter has a few things that aren't on the board, so look at both. I love crispy rellenos and theirs is pretty solid but specify crispy or you will get a traditional one. I have to comment on one review I saw that needs some perspective. Their chile has a kick but nothing crazy. It's also red chile not green. I'm not sure if they have a chile plate which is what you want if you want more pork but their chili for sides and smothering doesn't have much meat, which is normal. Also, besides chiles, onion and tomato you won't find a lot of "veggies".
