We decided on Mexican as my Mom loves Mexican food. The restaurant looked pretty busy and that is typically a good sign. We were seated rather quickly and placed our order within 5 minutes of being seated. Then the wait began... And kept going. We estimated it took between 30 and 40 minutes to get our food. We were told that they were quite busy and that was why there was a wait. When the food came it was generally good. Positive reviews on the fajitas. The quesadillas were large, but only lukewarm. The burger, though, had problems. The bun was wet with what we think was water, but that wasn't definitive. At the end of the meal (though few people were still in the restaurant) it was still very slow and it was hard to get someone to give a to go box and the bill. When we took the score around - all agreed it wasn't a 4 star experience... Thus just 3. I would recommend that you try a different place and give this one a pass.

Pretty good! The food is good. Not great but what I expect from a restaurant like this the atmosphere is fun. They are right next to the river. The drinks are good. Fair portions and fair prices also. Bottom line, better than many places in Estes.

This restaurant is right by the river/creek with nice decor and inside & outside seating. However, my family was very unsatisfied with our experience. I never give bad ratings, but since there are so many Mexican restaurants in Estes Park, I wanted to warn people to go somewhere else. Here are the highlights: 1) The "complimentary" chips & salsa is a standard 2 bowls even though there are 6 of us. I asked for more but was told it costs extra. My kids range from 9 to 16. They do not care for hot salsa. I asked for mild and was told that is all they serve - SO NOT FOR KIDS. 2) The service was average at best. Refilling drinks only happened once. The wait staff was nice but not very service oriented. 3) The cost of the meals was high, which I would expect at a tourist town, but the value was low. Portions were stuffed with lettuce and rice. The plates were huge giving the impression of large servings. 4) The food was average. The cheapest place in many home towns is better than this. Taco Bell is much better than this food. It was not authentic, just processed. It was not flavorful. Nothing unique. We didn't even take our leftovers home - which is typically a family ritual. None of the 6 of us enjoyed the food. Sad experience to the end of our week there.

Very busy and parking is a challenge. The food was very good and waiter was friendly. Not a place to go if you are in a rush as you will most likely have to wait for a table. Suggest finding parking somewhere else as the parking lot is very small and very seldom has an open spot. $$-$$$

Amazing food best service. Close to mi abuelitas food and I have never had anything this close before. Our waiter was fantastic and absolutely amazing. Go see Jonathan for the best service you can imagine.
