Great value for Estes Park! Hearty portions and friendly but non-intrusive staff make dining here a treat. Great for carnivores on date night. Make sure to leave room for dessert!!!

Food is okay, steaks and prime rib are pricey. We ate here twice as it was within walking distance of where we were staying. Our waitress Sidney was awesome, the bartender Pete is not as friendly. My sons steak was cold, my husband got rice instead of the baked potato he ordered, and my other sons mashed potatoes were also cold. The decor is nostalgic and cozy. For the quality and price, I feel the food is just ok.

Was here for dinner this evening. Sat outside on the deck. Was beautiful out. We both had the prime Rib, which was cooked to temperature, and was delicious. We opted for soup instead of the salad... French onion which was amazing. Had a great dinner, and won't hesitate to return.

Came up for their thanksgiving dinner buffet. Supposed to run until 4:30. We made a reservation for 3:30. The hostess was not overly friendly and then forgot about us so we didn't get seated till 4:15 therefore missing the buffet... food was sub-par and overpriced. Cost me $30 for one adult and one child's meal. (Child's hamburger was very dry) needless to say we won't be back...

Don't listen to the other reviews except for swanky. Nicky's has clearly updated and modernized since those were written. The staff was extremely friendly and food was extraordinary and the it has a quite excellent view. My dish was perfectly priced for the quality in my opinion and it was VERY QUICK QUICK QUICK. Altitude sickness is real but the other reviews are not. Watch you back cause it's TASTY TASTY TASTY. Thank you and goodnight.
