Newly opened, very friendly staff, great food for a decent price. The inside is nicely decorated with murals representing both Jacksonville and Mexico. They are currently running some great specials like all day BOGO house margarita or some great happy hour prices on apps while they try to get more people in. Generous portions, great tasting food.
Friendly & prompt service. clean restaurant. Hot sauce could be hotter though. Chips are not fresh, taste like they are from a bag. Don’t care for the loud music. Would rather hear Mexican music than what was playing.

Went here for the first time with My Wife and step Daughters. I decided to have Carnitas dish, Chile Colorado style. The dish was very good. Our server did an excellent hob as well. We will return here soon enough.Food: 5/5

Best burrito I ever had was from this place. Order the Sunrise Burrito. You will definitely brag about it to you friends and coworkers later and they will thank you.
Very friendly staff Anna our server was exceptional very helpful. Give them a try the food was delicious. You can watch the game while you eat. Bartender definitely knows how to make a Top Chef margarita Our check was reasonable price for a Saturday night. Full and Happy

This restaurant is DELISH!!! My husband was in the military and stationed in San Diego for 10 years and it was the best Mexican food ever!! And I say this because after he transferred to the East Coast starting with our first base station in Maryland the food was awful and then moving to Jacksonville in 1998 the food was no better and then this year we tried Casa Maria on Belfort Rd and it's absolutely the best Mexican food I've eaten!! You probably wondering if it's the best I've eaten on this coast why I didn't give it a 5 star. Well, I feel it's always room for more improvement and ideas from the restaurant.
Staff was ok, very friendly. Not very busy, Only a handful of patrons, on my visit.. More attention is needed to service items, drinks, salsa, chips, etc. Had to ask for drinks twice, even though several staff walking around. Portions were small for the price. Food was bland. The margarita, was undrinkable, 98% mixer!! Nasty.. The TV and radio was too loud. Could not hear the person next to me.. The restaurant itself is nice, well lit, inviting. But, please don't start mopping with over powering chemicals while people are eating! Was so strong we had to leave. All in all, this could be a great neighborhood place, if some things were addressed.
