Very Very Good...WE'LL WHERE THERE ON NOVEMBER 9TH, 2022...DIDN'T COMPLAIN TO THE WAITRESS BUT THE FOOD WAS SO BAD MARGARITA MACHINE WAS BROKEN I WAS REALLY DISAPPOINTED CAUSE WE GO AT LEASE TWICE A WEEK FOR THE FOOD AND GOOD FROZEN MARGARITA....LOOK LIKE I NEED TO FIND US ANOTHER SPOT BUT EVERYONE LOVE IT HERE.. We made our first visit to the Casa Ole at Deerbrook Mall today. This Casa Ole is on the southwest corner of the mall. We enjoy sampling Mexican restaurants for variety, BUT we also consider the Casa Ole group as an example of excellence in the Mexican restaurant market space. This restaurant is an exceptional example of the Casa Ole group. This is a fairly large restaurant with multiple rooms inside and a fenced enclosure outside the mall wall for the pleasant days Houston enjoy in fall & spring. We think someone at Casa Ole central is truly talented at developing outstanding recipes that can be replicated by the group. For example, the cilantro cream sauce is amazing - make friends with the waitstaff & you may get it substituted for standard sauces on some menu items in off rush times. The photo of the order of 4 sopillas with Carmel Rum sauce is a fairly recent presentation of this incredible dessert! The restrooms are nice & clean. Wife & I are in the process of relocating to be closer to family & are delighted to find this Casa Ole within convenient driving distance. We will be back. Hope you will join us there!
I'm going to give it two stars cause I'm feeling nice but don't tell my hubby cause he was very disappointed with his cheese enchiladas. His enchiladas consisted of two tortillas rolled rolled up with fajitas in them and thin cheese poured over them. My tacos were crispy with some little areas burned. Good thing I like crispy tacos and I was hungry. I don't think we're going back to Casa Ole.
Chicken fajitas were good. Ordered fajitas for on but was enough for two. Service was good. Waitstaff are very friendly and attentive. Restaurant was very clean ad organized.
Service was slow and Manager was no help to her employees. Every table was dirty and had not been cleared and cleaned. Manager wouldn't lift a finger to help her staff. Waited for chips for over 30 mins. Mean while my 11 dollar queso is getting cold. SMH total disappointment. We will not be back! They need to revamp this location and get better management in here.
I will start off by saying that I have been to other locations and all were much, much better. The wait time was far shorter than indicated but that could have been chalked up to what followed. My family of three sat on one side of the restaurant which was split in two. The side we were on I would say was half full, probably 8 or 9 tables containing patrons. We placed our drink order and with it an appetizer and shortly after our entrees. Well, that appetizer arrives with our entrees which took half an hour to present itself. Finally, getting ready to dig in we noticed no utencils so tried to catch the waitress. I say tried because we also realized that this young lady was by herself. We quickly noticed this from the two tables nearby complaining about the service, mainly the wait times. This young lady was running and being in this industry she did not throw up her hands. It is for this that I decided to compensate her graciously. The food was great but people truly underestimate the power of customer service. Smell draws you in, appearance temps you, taste traps you in your persuasion of good or bad. This decision also plays a part in customer expansion word of mouth. Bad customer service can ruine all of this as many of us are driven on emotions. I stuck with the three stars because it was my initial reaction to the service and I wanted to be true to the operation. The reason for the rating os so easy to fix but listeni g to the complaints from other patrons for the same reason showed how as humans we make minor issues seem major when emotions are involved.
Haven't been to any casa ole in 20+ years, boy have I been missing out. Food was excellent and the service was amazing! Will definitely be back!<b>Food</b>: 5/5
We came here for our lunch but it wasn’t crowded at all. My colleague told me that it would be very busy during dinner time. I ordered lunch fajitas with beef. The beef was salty at first but when I used with rice, sour cream and salsa, it tasted delicious. Our waiter was friendly and nice. The price is average. I think we’re gonna come back for sure.
Awful, I had no idea. I also made the mistake of ordering a gin and tonic, how can you mess this up? There was no gin, flat tonic and the ice were just chlorine bombs. I would have enjoyed just lighting $60 on fire more than this place.
Any Casa Ole you go to... you hav to have the green sauce. Ut is delicious. My sister and i share the Italian nacho. Different but delicious. Had like a creamy Alfredo sauce, nice thin crispy chips and its fixins. The drinks were excellent
