I enjoyed this place. The food was portion just right. I had the cheese enchiladas in green chili with rice and beans. My wife had the chicken chimichanga with green chili. My kid had the pork enchiladas with green chili and rice and beans. We all really enjoyed our food! I have to admit, the chili and salsa is a little bit spicy for me but, not overpowering. Our server was polite and well mannered. He was consistent and always asked us if we needed anything to let him know. The environment felt homey and family friendly. I recommend you try this place at least once, even of you have your doubts.

I can see why this place has such High reviews, old school Mexican place with menu items that haven’t seemed to change. By chance I ended up here for lunch and Amanda served me up a “ you call it” which I let the server pick my meal. Tasting a new place blind IMO is the best way to try it as you have no idea what your getting thus expectations aren’t set. I had a lunch combo, plethora of chips and I am sure a half gallon of salsa! You don’t find places like this anymore I already told my sister we have a new secret spot to eat at! The owner came out to greet the patrons and you could see that have traditions passed down and it shows. 10 stars if I could! Thanks Amanda and Joanna for a wonderful meal and exceptional experience!

Their green chili burritos are to die for. SOOOO GOOD. I had one from their food truck at an event and i absolutely loved it. I seriously could have eaten another one. I made sure that i knew where their physical location was so that i could go back.

Gollo Burro was bomb. Had it chimichunga style. Service was solid as well. They were very accommodating with our kids.

The food was good, but the strawberry margarita was even better :). My server, Richard, was very friendly and attentive. The tables were too high up compared to the booth or chair. The atmosphere seemed outdated, but I felt like I outside on Spanish veranda with the lights and the futures. We will coming back soon!
