It was a nice place to go to. My friends and I enjoyed buying some coffee there from the friendly folks that work there. We were able to sit outside on a bench and enjoy our food and coffee I'd give it a good grade

Best little store out in the middle of nowhere where you can find just about everything you might need!

Great place to have a coffee with a friend, stop on a bike ride or grab a Kombucha.Gina has done a great job adding bulk items, more organic a specialty items and local produce. If you catch her at the right moment she can give you the Santa Cruz news.

You know what is really weird?  I have driven to this place at least 20 times, it is exactly 3 miles from my house and sometimes provides the perfect place to get a coffee while the baby takes a snooze before I go home and put her in her bed.  So today, I was driving there and I notice a green toyota pick-up riding my tail, like what seems to be only inches from my bumper....I am going about 30-35 mph because the road is a winding residential road with house, a school zone,  and lots of turns...so there is this pick-up truck inches from my behind, I assume angry that I am not driving faster....but where do I pull over?  I also don't want to disturb my baby by pulling over, after all, it the constant humm of the car driving that will sometimes send her into a dreamland....so I continue for the 3 miles going 30-35 with the pick up dangerously on my tail the entire time. Finally I arrive at Caslengno's Store and I put on my blinker to turn left, the pick up behind me gets so close to my behind I am certain it will hit me....I slowly pull into the parking lot of the store relieved to be off the road and ready for a latte after the stress of this person behind me.  Well what happened next was really sad....  The pick up pulls up right beside me in the parking lot and the driver rolls down the window of the truck, a woman in her 30's,  and glares at me with a horrid face and mean eyes.  She motions for me to keep moving, to keep driving, motioning me with her hand.  I motion to her that I am actually not continuing on, but I am stopping here at the store.  That is when she says, " Oh No You Are NOT, this is my store, move on!' and then looks forward, drives forward into the parking lot, parks, gets out and glares at me until I slowly, in shock, drive away with no coffee......needless to say, this woman is angry and really sad to treat anyone so rudely.  I understand road rage....and I guess she has it....or maybe just rage.   But I was simply hoping to take a short drive for coffee, maybe get my baby to sleep for a nap, and enjoy my day.....Be careful stopping here....the owner treated me worse than I have ever been treated by an owner of a business here in Santa Cruz or Soquel or anywhere really.  Sad Sad Sad.... Merry Christmas.  I hope Peace finds her.....
