I went in for a crown and decided to address two other teeth that needed crowns as well.  Not only are they over-priced but they are under-skilled.   2 of 3 crowns were over-prepared causing damage to the nerves.  They immediately handed me a quote for a root canal.....as if I'm going to pay $1000 for each crown and then another $1600 for each root canal.  I decided to go to a different dentist and ultimately pulled 2 of the three teeth for implants.  This office cost me a few thousand and months of pain.  RUN from this place!!!

Went in for a cleaning before getting my Invisalign attachments. I went here because it’s close to my house and I didn’t want to drive to Boca. Big mistake.  When I got there I felt rushed, they didn’t even let me finish my paperwork before taking me back. I told them I had X-rays in November but they proceeded to take them anyway. Dr. Casel claimed I needed a crown on my tooth and urged me to do it immediately that day because my “cavity was so deep it was almost at the nerve”. I have been seeing a dentist in Boca regularly and I’ve only ever had 3 cavities in my life. In November she told me one of my cavities needed to be refilled which was the same tooth Dr. Casel said I needed a crown for. The quote for this crown was over $800 and he told me I’d have to redo my Invisalign impressions with my Orthodontist to fit my new tooth. Thankfully, I went with my gut and declined. I got a second opinion from my orthodontist and went back to my dentist in Boca. They both agreed it was completely unnecessary for me to have a crown and both actually laughed at how ridiculous it was. I only had a small cavity that needed to be refilled.  Now I received a statement in the mail for $110 that says it’s 30+ days late although I’ve received no statement prior and the bill has no explanation or date of service.  Worst experience at a dentist I’ve had and scary that he would put a crown on my perfectly good tooth to make money.

My visit with Carolina Bueno, RDH, my dental hygenest, was better than excellent...as always! The secretaries at the desk and Dr. Daniel Casel are also terrific.
