Definitely worth trying. They have a different skilled chef in every night. The menu changes nightly. They have some very exotic food that makes for an exciting meal. The food is excellent. They have lots of pool tables and a few pinball machines. The service at the bar was not great but hey its a small town. Its also the town where they filmed "The Birds" so its a cute stop. Great place to have lunch if you are going through.

Historic, unpretentious, old fashioned full bar. Good dinners available daily. Relaxed and friendly.

Not sure how to rat them with a single star rating. The food was really great (5 stars), it was a prefix style meal. We tried both the pork and shellfish cakes. Both were good as was the rest of the meal. The service was interesting. As this was our first visit, we didn't know the drill. Asked about the menu and should we order at the bar or was there table service. Was snapped at the menu was on the wall and the didn't open until 5 (we were there at 4:35. Ordered drinks from the bar and decided to wait till 5. Bartender was prompt and efficient. 4:50 rolls around and other tables are being served. Ok this is troubling but we stick it out and return to the kitchen and order 2 pork and one shellfish cake. The menu could be more obvious or a small printed one would be better. From this point the waitress did a good attentive service. Recommend the restaurant get in the habit of greating guests from the start. Promote that you have a great dinner menu at 5 and offer to seat guests. Bar/bartender 5/5 Greater 0/5 Waitress 4/5 Menu 1/5 Food 5/5

Killer Food on the weekend. It''s a little known secret gem, you might not expect this little place has food that amazing! Dessert menu is amazing too. The entire menu changes every weekend and has yet to disappoint in variety, fresh local ingredients and amazing flavor.
