Why can't this be a NO STAR! The man WAS HORRIBLE & Drunk! Told us that we could stay and then turned around before I paid and said we could not stay and said some racists stuff. He continued to tell us off and said he hoped I wasnt with a black man. He said he had to get back to his cooking and and for us to leave. Beleive me we will NEVER GO Back! Horrible experience and a big waste of time to even stop. I would rate this as No Star because he doesn't deserve any!

This place is lovely! The grounds are beautiful and well manicured. New electrical boxes. The manager is extremely helpful and friendly in person. Don't let his gruffness on the phone fool you. Wonderful place to stay!

Omg stopped there to ask for directions to a gas station the gentleman could not be any ruder . What an a hole! I would not stay at that motel if you paid me a million dollars. We interrupted his grilling and he had no time to help us . Do not give him your business!!!!

Great hospitality and would definitely return. Owner had a cook out and I was invited. Good food, clean rooms and conversation. Toured the property, garden, pond for fishing and rv park. Give it a try if passing through LaPorte. You will not be sorry.
