Wonderful place to spend the day with your family or friends. Sand feels wonderful and the water is relaxing. The water doesn't get very deep until far out into the lake so there's plenty of room to enjoy playing. The dunes are also fun to climb and walk around.

Enjoyed the hikes over the weekend. Great place to do hill training. Only negative to the place is when swimming, or enjoying scenery from the top of a sand dune, you can look out in three directions and see smoke stacks surrounding the park. But glad there is atleast this small area to enjoy nature between the large cities

Beautiful in the winter. Nice in the summer. That have consesion stands in the summer. Even though sledding is not allowed, it is still allowed on one hill. Be careful though. More forest than dunes. Would recommend Michigan dunes over Indiana.

Very nice place to go. The views from the dunes are beautiful, and the nature center is also very well put together. The three dune challenge is fun to participate in, and an excellent way to see the best parts of the park (just make sure you are fit enough for the challenge). Although the dunes area is beautiful, don't neglect the other areas of the park. There is a wetland area that is worth checking out.

Very beautiful park. Great escape for people from IL or next neighboring states. Beautiful beach. Enjoyed it on a warm sunny day and clubbed it with bicycle ride. perfect!
