Wonderful food and served with a smile!  The pies and desserts are awesome! The kitchen goes out of its way to make it's customers happy. In January I ordered Swedish Meatballs for lunch for a special outing for the residents from Eiler Place. The cook came in early that day to prepare our authentic Swedish meal! Thanks to the staff at Cast Iron. I highly recommend this cafe!

The Waitress was honestly one of rudest people I've encountered, when we ordered she laughed at our choice, I was a bit shocked, I thought she was joking in a kind hearted ironic manner or something, but no, it was a literal scoff. She spoke with such a tone of belittlement, which lasted from the time we arrived to the time of departure, and had a sarcastic tone to each answer for our questions , again with best intent, I thought she must just be using dry humor. Taking our order, we asked what came with the dishes, she then leaned in and said in a very serious tone "I don't know where you came from, but this isn't how we do thing around here", raised in a small town myself I hadn't a clue what she meant by this. Otherwise the food was great, portions large, seasoned well, and was cheap, but the whole experience was ruined by our waitress. My final bit is going to be about the aftermath of eating here, my friend and I ate there, and that's all we ate all day, as I said portions were large so we had enough left overs to fill us for supper. So all day long, all we had was their food. the next day he and I had to call in sick, we were stuck on the toilet all day, I am convinced that the chef is not to blame, I don't know why that waitress had such content for us, I wish I knew the reason so I could have changed it and turned around our experience. We went there on 08/14/16 at 11:45am.

Cast Iron Catering provided my daughters wedding reception with pulled pork and brisket, with other sides and drinks, for over 200 people. I heard complement after complement on the food. I wanted to thank  the staff and give out their business name and contact information. The crowd begin to clap as I mentioned the caterer and the service.
 We had no problems or worries with Paul and his team. We came from the wedding, and everything was ready as promised. I would not think twice about using the Cast Iron Catering for another event, and I would suggest for others to use them for any future events that you may have planned.

FRIENDLIEST service with GREAT food for a Small Town!  If your looking for BIG servings of HOMEMADE dishes...... This is the place.  They actually PAN FRY their chicken for the NOON SPECIAL!  Hope to stop again soon.  Getting hungry looking at the menu items I DIDN"T order!!
