Story

Castro's Bakery is a family owned and operated business since 1985. Mrs. Castro opened the Woodbridge location in November 2014. She wanted to add a Salvadorian cuisine, so her customers had some where to sit and relax while waiting for their cakes to be made, or just come in and enjoy tasty food from El Salvador. Castro's Bakery is one of the few Bakeries that offer same day pick up and custom cakes.

Their fruit and tres leches cake were very good. but order ahead of time to make sure they have cakes available.

The staff was very friendly. I wanted a 3 leches cake but not with to much milk. So when I ordered the cake i asked for just a little bit of milk. The girl told me she recommends when you order 3 leches to say if you would like just a little milk or normal amount of milk because every person is different. They made my cake in a about 20 minutes. Which was great because most bakeries make you order in advanced. The cake tasted great. Not to sweet and no to much milk. I love that they use whip topping and not sugary icing. She recommended the fruit cake to me. Fresh strawberries, peaches and custard cream next time I will have to try that one. I had a great experience. I did have to wait a few minutes to be helped as there was a line and only two cashiers. But overall the experience was good and I would recommend their cakes.

This place has the best tres leches in town! It's not too sweet and it's perfectly moist. Ciery is super awesome and she's ready to make sure your cake looks exactly as you want. They take their time to make sure everything is perfect.

Very slow service the food  no good at all i waited like 1 hour for my order of pupussas mixtas and they charged me three dollars for each pupussa i didnt even ate them because they weren't good i do not recommend this place👎
