OK, this isn't Disney Land or the feline version of Sea World. Know this before going. This is a big cat rescue operation. They are on a very tight budget and I'm amaze with what they have done with so little. Yes some of the reviews here are right that the enclosures are too small. However the space given to the animals is much more than required by authorities. If you are upset that the animals are not given an acre each, you will need to either donate a huge amount of money or work to change the statutes regulating zoos. Also remember that the hard working people here are not big cat collectors. They are doing their best to rescue, provide medical care, provide clean enclosures with adequate food and relocate the animals when they can.

My son loves tigers so we drove the 2hr drive to Spokane to see them. We were not disappointed. The tigers were active, the staff was very helpful and friendly. The gift shop was cute and enjoyable. My 4yo and 2yo loved the experience.

It's a cute little place to bring your kiddos! Definitely will be back for more big cat fun. Only down side is some areas smell a little like a litter box but your nose gets used to it.

I give Cat Tales five stars because I LOVE big cats. If you ask me they are the most graceful and majestic animals on Earth. It's amazing to see them as up close and personal as you do at Cat Tales. If you're a big cat fan, it's definitely worth the price of admission and more. The animals are kept in humane conditions and the staff clearly work hard to keep their enclosures clean and presentable.

This is definitely a home-grown zoological park. I support their mission and work and I believe they do a good thing. However, the experience from a customer perspective is a bit underwhelming. I wish they had the funding and drive to become a full-fledged zoo. Spokane is hungry for more family activities. Think of this as more of an animal rescue that allows visitors than a "zoo".
