I had to be here a long time and I was afraid that I'd be lonely but everybody turned out to be so nice and so pleasant that it defiantly made my stay here more enjoyable. The techs were mostly nice, of course there are some better than others. Andrea a tech was especially good to me, she always went above and beyond without my having to ask her. ALL the people in PT/OT were exceptionally nice and pushed me when I needed to be pushed. Respiratory staff were also attentive, again some better than others. One thing I'd say is that Sometimes it took the staff a little while to answer the call light, but once answered they were attentive. I have been in several different facilities and Catalina is the one I'd recommend.

I am a veteran and since I have been here I have experienced great services from the staff. The nurses are very professional , social workers and case mangers helped me out when I needed it. Tracy social worker used her personal time to pick up some personal items for me before they got thrown out at my previous location. Physical therapy is GOLD especially Stephanie. When I felt like giving up she always made me push through it and for that I am thankful. Even maintenance was quick and efficient. The food was alright, I've had better. This place overall is 5 stars in my eyes!

Took my Mom to Catalina Care, was really worried about leaving her. When I walked in I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist. The facility smelled nicely clean and not like those terrible stenches you normally get. I met with several Therapist and ALL were amazing! They made both my Mom and I feel very comfortable, and informed us in detail on her treatment plan. All the staff are very friendly. They have an amazing CLEAN gym! LOTS of great activities that make staying there easier and fun. I would really recommend bringing a loved on here.

The workers here very caring . They put you on a first name basis . They take time to listen to the individual . Sting sanitary very important every employee .

My father spent about 3 weeks here after a stroke. He was not strong enough to go to an acute care facility (3 hours a day of physical therapy) so we chose Catalina for his therapy until he was strong enough to do the 3 hours a day. A major positive of the facility is the therapy department. Both the equipment and the therapists are top notch. The nursing staff was overall good. Any questions I had were answered quickly. The ratio of patients to nurses/techs are the same at all facilities of this level. Sometimes there was a wait when you pushed the call button but that is to be expected. I did have a few issues but the staff listened to my concerns and resolved the issues quickly and to my satisfaction. The drawbacks to the facility are first that the rooms are SMALL. Really small. Also the decor really gives the look of a nursing home. It took several nights to show my dad that's not where he was. Overall I would recommend this facility to anyone who needs a rehabilitation center. The fact is he was there for the therapy not the decor. They made him strong enough to move up to the facility we originally wanted to go to. The receptionist and administration people were fantastic and asked every day if there was something they could do to help.
