Story

Catalyst Kinetics is a Vancouver area, multi-disciplinary health clinic, physiological assessment and sports & fitness training facility. We focus on total body well being, helping clients – from everyday people seeking to overcome obstacles to better health, people recovering from or working through injuries, to amateur and professional athletes training to go beyond their previous milestones – understand themselves better, improve their fitness and gain the tools to move forward in their sports training.

The Catalyst team consists of health specialists and trainers in a variety of fields, including medical doctors, chiropractors, naturopaths, registered massage therapists, physiologists, and bike fitters.

Located in Burnaby, Catalyst serves clients throughout Vancouver and can create programs for overall health & wellness, recreational fitness, corporate services and training for elite athletes.

I've been seeing Dr. Shannon for approximately two years now, not necessarily for a sickness each time but to obtain an optimal level of performance and health. Her knowledge base and skill level are unparalleled to any other medical professional I've ever encountered, both in the traditional and alternative medical worlds. Above all she spends the time to explain the what and why connections of each different "issue" that may be coming up for you in a way that is super accessible (especially if you don't know very much about the topics - like me) She helps you understand the benefit of the recommended treatment she gives going forward. 

I can't say enough good things about her care, I've always understood and been given options for my treatments. She never pushes or makes you feel like a bother for (all) the questions you ask. I'd shout her name from the rooftops if it was socially acceptable. 10/10 recommend to all my friends and fam.

I have been using the services at Catalyst now for about 4 years. I get great treatment from various practitioners there. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my care. I am so happy I found Catalyst!

I receive occasional  physio treatments for mild chronic conditions, sports injuries and desk-job aches. My therapist (Amanda) is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. I've experienced dramatic improvement thanks to treatments and recommended exercises. Care is always non-judgemental, with a focus on education. I have never felt pressured into a return visit. Received massage therapy once and had a similarly positive experience. Recommended Catalyst to a friend, who has also seen improvements.  Will continue to recommend!

I went to Rob for a bike fitting thru a friend referral and the service is exceptional. Rob went the extra mile to ensure the fitting was optimal for safety, performance, and comfort. If you are a beginner road rider or even a seasoned veteran, doesn't hurt to spend a bit and have Rob work on your bike to give you that extra edge.
