Cynda has been extremely reliable, professional, knowledgeable, helpful, kind (must I go on?) in all our dealings with CVIA..  I know this is a tough business to work in and she has always taken care of matters in a calm and friendly manner and I have felt that she was always looking after our best interests.

I had previously left a 5 star review but have not been able to edit that. Over the years, Catawba Valley Insurance has been very good to work with but within the last few months, things have definitely changed! I discovered that my homeowner's policy has an error on it, reflecting my home was built in 08' when in actuality it was built in 02', and I have  sent NUMEROUS emails to my agent, Cynda, as well as vm's & have received no call back or acknowledgement of my emails. I was finally able to get a hold of Mr. Murr, the owner, only to be told he would check another company to see if I could get a better rate & that he would contact me the next day, and guess what? No return call. For what I am paying in homeowner's insurance with Erie would shock anyone! Yes, I've used my policy, but I've still managed to get a quote from another company that would save me over a $1000 a year! I cannot switch though bc it is not up for renewal until July. This insurance company could easily take the time to review my policy & correct the errors & try to save this single mother some money, but all I get is silence & an excuse that they are moving & haven't had time! You're moving bc of the success given to you by your CLIENTS, you don't treat people like they don't matter & at this point, that's exactly how I feel. If you want CUSTOMER SERVICE, I suggest shopping somewhere else, bc evidently, Catawba Valley Insurance has all the clients they can handle right now, and then some! Shop around & don't get "stuck" like I am! By the way, this hike in homeowners insurance has also caused my monthly mortgage payment to go up, which could be prevented if they would return my calls & help me.

Cynda is always easy to get a hold of with questions or concerns and is wonderful at explaining things so I can understand! Very pleasant & has a very personable personality!
