My grandson who is 17 years old and a diabetic since he was 6 became very ill the other day. He was in severe pain and vomiting uncontollably. He told his mom she needed to call 911. When the fire dept. got there, they said to him, 'Dude, you can't call 911 just because you feel sick' and they refused to take him to the hospital. His mom drove him to the hospital and he was in ICU in diabetic ketoacidosis for a day and a half. He nearly died. The Cathedral City medical responders had refused to help this critically ill child. They're disgusting.

I had severe food poisoning for the last 4 days. It got to the point were I couldn't even drink water without it violently coming back up. This morning I woke up and needed an ambulance to go to the hospital, because I could barely move. Well, they send over the rudest punks I've ever met who have driven an ambulance. They were telling me to 'hurry up', as I was trying to explain to them I couldn't walk more than a foot or two without throwing up, and yet they kept on me... 'Hey, were an emergency service, we don't have time to sit around and wait.' It was also very difficult to speak without feeling nausea, so since I was having trouble answering there questions; I hear them tell on the radio, that I was 'uncooperative' (?!?). Oh, gee sorry I'm in so much pain that actually speaking hurts... but I'm 'uncooperative'; due to their complete lack of compassion, I started feeling like I was in back of a police car and NOT an ambulance. I was in so much pain it was difficult to even get dressed while I have these guys harassing me. Sorry I'm not bleeding out of my eyeballs or my leg is hanging off, but there were daggers in my stomach that you could not see, and they're treating me like I'm faking it. Yes, I always call 911 in the early morning, because going to the emergency is my idea of fun. NO COMPASSION. COMPLAINT TO FOLLOW...
