I was shopping at the Allen Park store last week. I was the only customer in there. I held up a top, looked at it and refolded it. The sales clerk asked me to hand her the top so she can fold it the "right way". So I did. She said "you would be a zero in this store". I told her I know. She asked if I had shopped there before? I told her yes I have. She said "this is a true plus size clothing store. I didn't say a word and walked out. Since when is it the customers responsibility to refold the merchandise correctly, if at all? When is it the sales clerk responsibility to tell you what size you are? Further more, I could have been shopping for a gift for someone else for all she knew. Very disappointed, don't plan on ever shopping there in the future. Catherine your a zero star in my book.

Today, 11/17/2014 my husband took back a coat that he had purchased for me for 135.00 to your Allen Park store. It was approximately 12:00 pm. The coat was too big on me and he really wanted an exchange, but they did not have anymore. To make a long story short. He was told he would have to come back for the cash refund (and to call before coming) as they did not have $132.00 cash. His time was wasted and well as gas getting there....to be told they didn't have CASH???? Is this not a major womans store? How embarrassing for you at Catherines. Certainly there should be some cash placed in the stores back room, safe or cash register. Don't you trust your workers? Are you afraid of being robbed? This is not a big deal. I just thought you might want to operate your stores and have the people come back. If so, you need to have your stores operable. I will go back, but I will not buy anything. The return policy is not up to par. He did not wish to have a gift card!
