I visited the store tonight and I have never seen such poor customer service!  I walked in the store and saw two employees, neither greeted me.   I proceeded to look for graduation decorations for my daughter's graduation party.  I asked the young man (thin tall guy) if the colors of the decorations represented the student's school.  He was so rude and said "what you mean, they just give us the colors and we put them up".  He does not like his job!!!  The whole time he's pulling and throwing things on the shelves, like he's disgusted with being at work.  There was another young lady (with pink hair).  She was similar to the other guy but not a bad.  Neither of them smiled or looked like they was grateful to have a job.  I was going to leave the store with the items in the basket, but I'm glad I didn't.  When I got ready to check out there was one glimmer of hope (Anthony).  He was a very shy guy but kind and helpful and answered my questions as if he actually cared.  I thanked him for being so kind and nice.  He smiled as if he was shocked about my comment.  I told him that I take customer service seriously and he said thank you.  If the other two employees are representations of what Party City is all about, they are a poor representation of your brand!!!!!  They need customer service training and sensitivity.  I work for the city of Detroit and I pride myself on excellent customer service skills.   I realize and I want other to realize that customer service is not a department, is a attitude!!!!   I have to pick up balloons next Saturday for my daughter's party and sad to say, I pray that I don't get either of them at the cash register!!! This is disheartening!!  Moving forward I will choose another location or order online for party items.

I love going down the party bag favors aisle. I can't go in this store without gabbing a few very inexpensive toys and candy for my kids.  Couple bucks no matter what!  Keeps my 3 year old happy with a 50 cent ball and 40 cent trumpet!

Jill, customer service is not your forte, throwing products at the counter and having a disrespectful attitude does not help!

We still have a custom banner they made for us for  a party in 2011.
Variety of items. Or just shop for ideas/ inspiration!
