Aside from being a wonderfully quaint and clean hotel with gorgeous surroundings, this is run by the warmest most beautiful family you could ever met. To say they were hospitable is an understatement. Kathy and Almitra went so far out of their way to make our stay extra special. I can't recommend Catskill Mountain Lodge enough. Thank you for such an enchanted weekend!

Rooms smell a bit musty but otherwise nice. Three sinks in room! Very friendly staff and atmosphere.

I was not to happy with this place though it serve it's purpose, to rest shower and freshen up but that was it.we were on a family trip over a long wekeend. cant say it was all bad but there were some things about the owner that was bothersome. like when we ask for extra sugar for cofe or the light to be turned on by the pool are. there is not alot of staff so when it got crowded it was difficult to have 3-4 people to take care the hole place plus its a small town kinda place and the same people work in hotel work for the restaurant. was a old fashion place that didn't bother me much but I culd see were they cut corners. overall I would go bk if its for a very ahort stay like overnight or a wekeend.
