Went there today to have my mother-in-law checked. Not a good experience. Got there when it opened. 4 to 5 people ahead of us and others came after. Doors opened and made rush to the admission form in full swing. No sign in sheet, just whoever gets the forms copleted first. Place is dirty and does not give you a feeling of quality care. Completed the forms and asked how many doctors are on duty and an estimate of time for her to see one. Nurse/receptionist seemed very annoyed and short with us. Basically, it will be a while, two hours or so. Go take your seat kind of attitude. Long story short. Called Albany med Coxsackie urgent Care and very pleasent on the phone. Took the 15 minute ride to a clean and carring facility. Was seen in 20 minutes with three people in front of us. Great experience all around. Do yourself a favor and go there first.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I went in on a Monday morning with a severe sore throat. When I gave my insurance to the woman at the front she literally threw it back at me and left it on the counter like I was a nusiance for coming in. After waiting for almost two hours I was finally seen by what I'm assuming is a nurse I don't know as she was wearing plain clothes and wreaked of cigarettes. She did my throat culture and a PA came in and said I have strep. No further exam no looking in my throat nothing. She said she was prescribing me antibiotics but didn't say what I was being prescribed. Come to find out, it was amoxicillin which never does anything for me. I gave it three days with zero improvement in my symptoms. When I called to see if they could call in something different they gave me the run around saying I would need to come back in and be reevaluated before they would prescribe me anything else because the practitioner who saw me three days prior wasn't there. Which meant another unnecessary 2 hour wait for nothing. I had to speak to three different people who gave me nothing but attitude and excuses about giving me a different Med and said it was my fault for not knowing what I was being prescribed. I finally was transferred to Marlene the PA who was the SAME WOMAN who saw me on my last visit! They blatantly lied to me just so I could come back in and collect the insurance money. This place is the absolute worst walk in I have ever been to. It stinks like stagnant sick air, it's dirty and the staff is so unprofessional and on top of it, complete liars. I don't know how this place is operational and quite honesty scary that it still is. Getting medical care out of some dudes van would probably be better than this place. Stay away. Sickening!

Drove 45 minutes here being me nearest urgent care and there is a sign on door saying x-ray unavailable as of 8/23/17.

This is the Worse place ever. All they do is sit on their ass and do nothing. I went in because of a problem with my throat "strep came out negative" funny, because I have a horrible case of strep. They told me and I quote "Don't take unless you don't feel better after 7 days.That is the worst thing some one could say. Then they had an attitude with my GRANDMOTHER of all people an elderly woman. They are lucky i didn't call because I would of lost my mind.
