Temples are the most holy locations for members of the Church of Jesus Christ if Latter-day Saints (commonly known as the Mormon Church). We are now blessed to have one in Cedar City. It is a location where families can be sealed together forever, so that family relations and marriages can last beyond the grave. This special blessing is only available through the temple. Other essential ordinances are performed here for members and their deceased ancestors. Admittance requires LDS membership and an active temple recommend (which requires moral worthiness). On the other hand, all are welcome to walk the grounds and admire the beauty of the building, the landscaping, and an amazing view of Cedar City. It is open Tuesday through Saturday.

This is a beautiful temple. I had always felt like salt lake would be where I get sealed to my wife but I cannot shake the feeling that This Is The Place. God's mansion on a hill, the light for us to follow.

Such a BEAUTIFUL Temple! 😍 Highly recommend bringing your whole family along, especially while the tours are going on, everything is so well organized and it went so smoothly. (That’s saying a lot, especially with an 8 month old) Loved visiting and already want to go back! Hope to visit again soon!

Went to the open house at Cedar City Temple today. It was simply beautiful. All the different picture of our Saviors reign here on the earth, the fabrics on the furniture , the beautiful stain glass windows, the beautiful wallpaper. And the spirit of the Lord. What a wonderful place to be. I'm so thankful we got to go with our son and grandson.

Amazing open house. Apparently 2 is the detained glass windows came from a old prespaterian church back east before they demolished it. It the 4 stained glass windows, 2 of them are in this temple. Very neat and awesome architecture.
