In, 2015, Cedar Financial sent me a notice that I owed 389.18 for a traffic violation that I had received while visiting Italy approximately 18 months earlier. The ticket had been paid at that time and was $83.17. The Italian Government, AutoEuropa, and Cedar Financial all seemed to ignore the fact that this ticket had been paid. I am not sure exactly which of the aforementioned is the MOST corrupt and is therefore most responsible for this attempted fraud, or if it may well be shared between them.
I provided Cedar Financial with a copy of the payment and a cease and desist letter for them, ALL ITALIAN GOVT ORGANIZATIONS, and AutoEuropa to immediately stop any and all harassment and fraudulent attempts to charge me for previously paid fees.

This collection agency has not removed a derogatory balance of $96 that was placed on my account in 2014. This account has been paid in full, and I have contacted them multiple times to remove it from my credit report but they have done nothing. I wouldn't use them as a collection agency as a business owner because their poor business practices, and inability to fix a major concern have prevented me from returning to the business that incorrectly sent me to collections. I have also told my friends and family to stay away from this business because they use this collection agency and refuse to correct errors that are reported to major credit bureaus. Very frustrating.

Upper Class Collections in Australia has been working with Cedar Financial for the last 12 months and we find they are great to work with and we would recommend them to anyone. As far as the USA goes, Cedar is definitely the only debt collection agency to use with good results and constant updates so we always know what is going on.
