This place wowed me! Oh the meat is grilled to perfection, the lentil soup tasted awesome, and the rice tasted great! It is a bit pricey but you do get not only high quality food but a lot of it! The bus boy was right on picking up our plates. Even my picky 18 month old ate it and loved it. The only downside is there is no place to change a baby/toddler's diaper.

The side of the restaurant where orders are taken is not very well ventilated, so you will probably leave smelling like Cedar Grill, which may or may not be a bad thing depending on your personal preferences. I ordered the Cedar Mixed Grill, which is three kinds of meat on a large bed of rice. The meat portions weren't very big, so I'm glad I sprang for the side of feta cheese. The kifta was spiced really well (not spicy, just exotic), but the other meats were very mildly flavored and a little dry for my taste. The plate came with a side of hot sauce and garlic sauce. The hot sauce wasn't super flavorful, but very spicy. The garlic sauce was LOADED with garlic, which I would normally like, but I'm pretty sure it was just garlic and mayonnaise and I wasn't a big fan. It wasn't bad at all, but I prefer a place in Lombard with comparable prices, but which also provides an Arabic salad with the order and larger meat portions.

I wanted to try something new, so I came here. I am so happy I did. There was something for the whole family. Their hummus is excellent! My husband loved the gyro and tziki sauce. I had the chicken shawarma and it was great! The serving size was large and I couldn't finish the lunch portion. Great place!

Great little dive with good Mediterranean fare. A little pricy, enough to make you wonder if it is the right place to go, but then you remember how good the chicken or falafel is and you go back anyway. I look forward to going back and trying the shawarma as thier other chicken was really good too. What is weird though, is they don't call thier meat cooking on the big sick thier kabobs, rather it is little sticks that are grilled. When I ordered the mixed lunch and it had offerings of several kabobs included, I did not recurve as I expected, however it was still good.
