DO NOT STAY HERE!! It's now Americas Best Value Inn. It's cheap but DO NOT STAY HERE! There is a large homeless community out in the back field. They walk through the property all times of the night and are yelling or fighting. WE WERE ROBBED while staying here. Our truck phone and wallet were all stolen from our room after we had gone to bed. We called the police and they said they would come out. We waited all day and they never showed. So the next day, we went to the police station ourselves ... They told us they went to the motel to talk to us and the owner lied and said we had checked out!! The police informed us that this motel gets robberies and fights and police calls almost daily. They said it's a bad part of town and there is a lot of drug activity here. They advised us not to stay here. It's worth the extra money to go somewhere else out of downtown Medford. We asked the owner if robberies happen here all the time and he lied and told us never! But that's not what the police say!

Well it's actually called Americas best value inn but we here locally refer to it as the tweaky lodge cause all the drugs traffic. The showers take forever to get warm nice looking rooms

Omg this place is a total dump. My friend and I stopped here last minute one night at around 11pm. We got our room key and we were put downstairs. The room was filthy. The shower was absolutely attrocious. A thick , white film all over the shower door and black stuff. I wouldn't set foot in that shower. The lock to the door on the inside was jerry rigged. The battery pack was hanging out of the top of the lock. I have never seen something like this in all of my life. Also a big crack between the door jam and the wall and you could see outside and it was in the 20's that night and the cold air was coming into the room. It was an all around creepy feel. We didn't even calm down until we had had a couple of drinks. I felt like Norman Bates was looking at is through a hole in the wall, it was that bad. Something straight out of a scary movie!!!

I would highly recommend to anyone that they stay at the Cedar Lodge. For the price I couldn't have been happier. The rooms have everything that you need including a mini fridge, microwave, hair dryer, coffee pot, ironing board, hangers and a dresser for your clothes. There is a flat screen TV and also a lounge chair with footrest. It is right in the heart of Medford so shopping and dining is all very close. They keep the facilities very well maintained and clean. The only issue I had was all the coffee that was in the room was decaf. However a quick run to the office and they took care of it immediately. I got two nights for $90 plus tax and that is an amazing deal as far as I'm concerned

Our room was simple, but clean and with new carpet and paint. It was beyond what I'd expect for a budget motel. I will agree with the others who posted about shady looking people wandering around the neighborhood, but it's not really the Inn's fault -- it's just a testament to the unfortunate decline of downtown Medford over the years. Bottom line, the room itself was clean, quiet and comfy. The locks were secure and our actual motel neighbors were friendly and normal, so it wasn't really a big deal getting over the weirdos periodically passing through the neighborhood. The idea of paying triple the price for a comparable motel on the newer end of town just wasn't worth it to me.
