I like this movie theater. The staff have always been friendly and it just seems to attract a nicer crowd than the big Lafayette cinemas. I am beyond being concerned with 3D options or the latest sound-enhancing technology. Celebrity may or may not be up to par in these areas (I genuinely don't pay attention to such things anymore) but all I really want is to watch a film in a clean theater, with decent volume, and a respectful audience. Thus far, Celebrity in Broussard has not failed to deliver.

I went to see a movie for the first time in years, and I really enjoyed the experience from everyone that was on site that night. Nice and courteous from beginning to end.

Clean and close. Smaller movie theater than those in Lafayette but usually cleaner. Great selection of movies with short lines. Serves popcorn and usual movie treats.

You can expect an overall pretty good experience at this theater. The seats are quite comfortable and the staff is usually friendly enough. It isn't usually all that crowded either. My only complaint is that there was a bit of a glare on the screen (theater #10) when we went recently. This is just because there haven't been upgrades here in a while. Normal tickets are $8.50, and $5 on Tuesdays.

Some of the screens are often dirty, almost greasy looking in spots. Some of the screens also have small damaged, almost looks like missing pieces. So you have to try to enjoy a movie that doesn't always look great. My opinion is that if you are paying anywhere from $7.50 to $13.00 to view a movie, there shouldn't be any issues with image quality. Spend your money at another theater.
