Celia's consistently presents tasty food at reasonable prices. We've been dining here for decades, and always had good experiences. The staff are friendly and helpful. Do Enjoy!

This is the worst service I have ever had a restaurant. I attended a birthday party in a back room that looked like it was designed for events, so they should be accustomed to large parties. There were approximately 30 adults, which doesn't seem like it should overwhelm a kitchen. After everyone was seated and the server took our food and drink orders, he brought chips and salsa to our table. Thankfully, he did give us two baskets of chips. He then brought out waters for everyone and sodas for those who had ordered them. It took more than an hour for our food to come out. When the server finally delivered the food, he told one member of our party that the restaurant was out of ceviche, clearly much too late for him to change his order. He left without anything to eat. While delivering the food, the servers walked into a room of 30 people and shouted the names of dishes with no idea who they belonged to. Two of orders were mixed up and the kitchen sent out and extra one due to the mixup, and the server was clearly annoyed. No one ever filled our drinks. It took just as long to get our tickets so we could pay. Obviously, gratuity was included due to the size of the party, which was frustrating because of the terrible service.

Food is good. Service is excellent. Bar area is untidy and cluttered. The rest of the restaurant is good. I feel Celia's in Menlo Park has better food but service there is slow and not as friendly. Just after posting this I saw a waiter, not the regular bartender, pour a half drunk margarita into the blender, add more ice, tequila and mix, blend it and repour into the same glass. The blender didn't get rinsed or washed afterwards. I downgraded from 3 stars to 2 stars.

Excellent food. One star off for some slow service. But will be back for sure.
