CSE, in the heart of Silicon Valley, is a Kriya Yoga center. Group meditation, Hatha Yoga & Sunday interfaith worship. Grounds open sunup to sundown.

Story

The ministry of the Center for Spiritual Enlightenment is focused on the essential truth and harmony found in the world's religions, the necessity for a global ethical and spiritual awakening to bring about world peace, and the importance of individual participation toward this goal. Our vision is individual and planetary awakening to the One Truth known by many names.

The Center is an oasis of peace in the community, the world, and in the hearts of individuals. It is through that peace that one may live an awakened life. The awakened life is our opportunity to live authentically and in harmony with divine plan and purpose. Through awakening, we experience true fulfillment and the soul's natural joy

Mission

CSE is a meditation teaching and practice center based in the teachings of Kriya Yoga, and offered in an interfaith environment. Awaken to the One Truth known by many names.

This organization really tries to always bring its very best and continually revision how best to serve the yoga community. You will enjoy this organization for its great music, focused scholarship and never wavering practice of silent meditation. This is not a group stuck in time or hung up on titles, but one focused on what is pragmatic. Very attractive grounds too.

The Center for Spiritual enlightenment in San Jose is a wonderful oasis in the fast paced silicon valley.  It's serene meditation gardens and wonderful inviting energy makes it a unique place in this area and an exceptional place to call ones spiritual home.  If you are looking for a place to grow, discover and nurture yourself, I recommend taking a look at CSE.

This is truly a center for spirituality, taking what is good from the world's religious & spiritual traditions, based on the pluralistic philosophy of Paramahansa Yogananda and Hinduism. They offer many programs & courses, & are active in promoting non-violence, yoga & spirituality. The physical center is a nice place to visit.

An interfaith temple, charming book shop and welcome center that holds all sorts of spiritual classes and yoga studies. They offer free 'How to Meditate' classes and regular, peaceful, warm Sunday services. AThere is also a courtyard to just take in the sun while you can read from their bookstore.....and always friendly and willing to help.
