 homeless, escaping my abuser w/my child 5, I was  desperately in need of domestic violence shelter so I sought. Shelters turned me away over filled, but one "Christian restoration" I walk in the door they close the door &say this is not a DV shelter as u thought ,you are working for God now surrender your shoes, phone, all documents of you &child. Not allowed a phone EVER & nor drivers license. They take over my wic, welfare money & foodstamps for the house of 23 people. They take my baby to school, not me they fed my child bowls of candies & cake ice cream  always bringing her into another room. Worship 5am daily im required to tend. they tell me  I'm a prostitute for not being married w/child & i will be chosen by a pastor after a year if I'm fortunate. Prayer is strictly "in tongue" hollering for 2hours. The only work is standing in parking lots & Asking people for money. They  wouldnt let me call my mother or children. I didn't know any street names or adresses & couldn't leave the house, forbiddin, I had to escape from here,  I did , faked a kidney infection rushed to the ER , doctors at San Jose  General saved my daughter & I

This is not god. Someone with important power should see what these people do they hurt families and use the parents drug past against them and try to brain wash the kids that there parents are terrible
