Central City Liquor has an incredible selection and a very knowable staff. Rarely do I ever come out with what I intended to buy because the staff steers me to sometime better or a better value.  Bring your cash and they will give you a discount.

Best selection of single malts in the area but definitely need to take advantage of the cash discount to make prices reasonable/competitive.  Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

False advertising, I won't be back. Was in the store today and purchased a bottle. The gentleman running the register knew the customer in front of me and offered him the 10% discount for purchase with cash. I also paid cash but was not given this option. I'd recommend sticking to Hy-Vee
