Always want to support local but it's hard when the price on the shelf is never the one you pay at the register. "New signage" that says system update is at least a warning but they have been up for months. Prices are okay selection is nothing special. A year ago I would have given it a 4 but the last two times the employees speak to me as if them checking me out is a favor...last straw for me was the employee saying are you dumb or not listening cause I put my card into the reader while talking to my friend in line. No I was having a conversation smarty pants don't let me interrupt your day ever again

My wife goes here 90% of the time because it's close to home. I go here occasionally to pick up her smokes. I'm clueless when it comes to some of the products and merchandise since I don't smoke. I have had many smooth transactions and experiences here with an occasional glitch of the machines not taking my debit card or with a couple of the employees who seem to give a rats ass about helping and educating a person and in the end help their store make a sale. I'll still go here because my wife sends me and BIGGEST reason is that they stay open later than the smoke shop does.

I went into the store today to buy a bottle of vapor I waited some time in line when it was my turn I asked Michelle at the counter if they had any caramel because I thought I'd try something different than I usually get. we went down to that end and she pulled out a bottle and she said well it's really expensive it's $39 and I said no I'll just get and before I could finish she said hold on I'm going to go take care of these people and left me standing there. After helping a couple more customers I said ma'am I'm down here waiting to which she replied very smuggly well you don't know what you want. I said yes I do to which she replied you can get out of my store and go next door. I was shocked embarrassed and a little bit angry. I said I have been standing down here waiting for a long time she said get out of my store and go next door. I said that's fine I said I want to know who the manager is to which she replied you can talk to the owner Greg she obviously had no worries about him having a problem with her attitude with the customers. I usually deal with the blonde headed gal that works at night who is very very nice. Michelle on the other hand is another story rude arrogant and absolutely no clue what customer service is. She obviously claims the store as her own and feels that she can do anything to whoever she wants and takes great pleasure in it. Her attitude is it's your privilege to shop at that store and that is not how a business should be conducted. Your customers are your business and should be treated as such not as someone who's bothering you. Bottom line I will never shop at the store again. Does she not realize there's about a hundred or more other vape shops in Des Moines.

Rode a bike about 25 minutes to get there and some goofy green haired guy first asked me for my date of birth and after I pull my wallet out he asks me for my Id witch I lost and then says can't sell tobacco to anyone without Id...and the few people before me just got asked for date of birth and no id
