Turn around time was good but I didn't get the impression they were being up front about the price when I was quoted $25 to re-key a lock on my car. I got a call saying my lock cylinder was ready for pickup but the price was $40. The reason given was that the new pins weren't working with the original worn out key I had given them to match so they had to use the factory code to cut me a fresh key for an additional $15. This was a reasonable explanation and I took their word for it at the time. I later checked my old keys in the re-keyed lock and they all still worked fine. I don't mind someone upselling me if they are honest about it but I would investigate any additional charges in the future for any work done by them.

Proper shop etiquette would include notifying a customer of additional work beforehand rather than tacking it on to their bill. Especially if it isn't required to complete the work requested.

The work done however was acceptable and reasonably quick.

I called Central Lock & Safe for my daughter on a Saturday morning. She had come home for a quick lunch from her job and accidentally locked her car keys in her car. I called and scheduled for them to come by at 11:57 am and they had her car unlocked by 12:20 pm. Thank you so much for doing such an amazing job and doing it quickly on a Saturday. I will tell everyone I know about you all.

Super fast and very polite. Had two keys cut and programmed for my 5th generation 4runner. Thought each key that I brought in would be $50 to program + $2 to cut each totaling $104 dollars. They said their wasn't a limit on the programming tech fee so I paid $50 + $4 for two programmed keys. Definitely will use these guys again.

I stopped here to get a key for my new car cut. It's one of the fob with the flip out key types. The dealership quoted me $275 for a new key with programming. To save money, I ordered the fob off ebay and just needed it cut before I went to get it programmed at the dealership. Not only did the cut my key but they were also able to give me a key that unlocked the doors and starts my car but doesn't need the expensive fob. I've been dealing with the dealership for a week..over my lunch hour they solved the problem and I walked away with two extra keys for a quarter of the cost I was expecting to have to pay. Super friendly service, will never go anywhere else!
