The stream is beautiful and the trail offers connectivity to other natural areas, but the park is too open (i.e., not forested enough).

Beautiful park. Has Osage oranges and apples if you go in the right time of year

We walk through this park almost daily. The grounds are well kept, there is a pavilion with grill and picnic tables, and free doggy bags on the north side by the bike trail. The bike path is nice and wide and easily connects you to paths along Clear Creek or the Iowa River.
