The Chaffee Art Center features exciting exhibits, classes, events, and more! Some highlights of a typical Chaffee year: Juried Artists' work, Member Shows, our Annual Student Art Show (K-12), Annual Photography Contest and Exhibit, August & October Art in the Park events, and classes for all ages offered by an array of artists & educators.
EXHIBITION EDUCATION COLLABORATION
Art work hung in all exhibits is for sale and commissions help to support the Chaffee Art Center, a 501(c)3 nonprofit. Our exhibits highlight the work of our juried artists, regional New England artists and even international artists. We annually host a student art exhibition for grades k-12 which involves over forty regional schools. The public is invited to submit entries, for both our annual photography and gingerbread house exhibits.
Chaffee organizes two Art in the Park Festivals featuring 80 to 100 artisan vendors, food, live music, and art activities. Gate donations go to support the Chaffee Art Center.
