Story

In 2004, Cleveland Cinemas added two more locations to their theater family. In April, Cleveland Cinemas took over the management of Chagrin Cinemas, a 14-screen movie theater located east of Chagrin Falls on route 422 in Bainbridge. The area on East Washington Street is an entertainment center in Bainbridge, with the multiplex nestled in between an enclosed golf dome with miniature golf and a popular family restaurant. Chagrin Cinemas even boasts a party room available to rent for birthday parties and other special events. Arcade games and a concession stand stocked with every moviegoer's favorite snacks round out the offerings at this friendly movie theater. (note: Chagrin Cinemas now has 9 total screens.)

This is a really nice local theater. All the staff were pleasant and it seemed well maintained. There was a nice variety of movies playing here. The theater was cleaned well. It doesn't offer all the amenities you would find in a more modern theater. That said, I still enjoyed watching a movie at this location.

Always a great experience. Just love the nostalgia of the theather. They always have so many movies. Happy to support them. Happy they are here.

Went to see The Last Jedi on Christmas Eve day. There were about 60 people in the theater with lots of families. At a critical point in the movie with about 30 minutes left there was a brief power outage (we are told). Within a minute the sound came back with no visuals. It ran that way for about 15 minutes before they fixed it. Most folks left in frustration. They did fix it and rewound to a spot before where the movie had failed. At no point did anyone offer any explanation until we requested a refund at the end of the movie. The manager, while vaguely apologetic, continued to make excuses and wasn't very sympathetic to the experience being ruined. I think they missed a major customer service opportunity to make it right by offering return tickets to everyone instead of making people request them.

This is an awesome movie theater. The staff and faculty are very helpful. There are 14 movie theaters on site, but only around 8 of them are used. They usually only play the new movies, but they have made a few exceptions in the past. This location is currently owned by Cleveland Cinemas, but this can change in the future as cinemas usually aren't owned by the same company for more than a few years.

Such a kind staff. Was especially impressed with the teamwork of the two employees Hannah and Jack! Will definitely be seeing more movies here.
